Immerse yourself in a world of creativity and craftsmanship as WEFTFest proudly presents its 3rd annual Fibre Arts Festival.
From May 15th to 19th, 2025, fibre enthusiasts, artisans, and the community at large are invited to experience five days of inspiration, education, and celebration at this one-of-a-kind festival.
WEFTFest is a vibrant celebration of fibre arts, weaving together the rich tapestry of creativity and craftsmanship in Waterloo Region Visitors are welcome to learn about local guilds, vote
on their favourite quilt and explore the diverse group of artists who sell supplies, art and their unique fashion designs.
KWFAMOUS VINTAGE FEST
Located in the heart of Uptown Waterloo, Vintage Fest is back for its 3rd year, and this year is bigger, bolder, and groovier than ever. Hosted in collaboration with the Uptown Waterloo BIA, this festival is your ultimate long weekend destination.
For the May Long Weekend we will transform The Uptown Parkade into a stacked market of vintage vendors, live music, classic cars and more.
HISTORIC ST. JACOBS WALKING TOUR
This town has made a big name for itself, and the story is best told through intriguing local tales: the milling company that pioneered new technology in 1875; the early schoolteacher from Sierra Leone, the woman whose love for books built the library; the horse that delivered the mail for decades and a hardware store that became a nation-wide company.
Our 90 minute guided walking tour is led by locals who know the town best. You will leave feeling happier, healthier and smarter! Or maybe you won’t want to leave!.
CAMPFIRE IN UPTOWN WATERLOO
Grab a seat on a nearby patio or gather around the fire in Waterloo Public Square and listen to live music performed by different local musicians. Happening on select Wednesdays from 6 to 8 p.m. Performing artists to be announced.

6 to 7 p.m. – Miranda Journey is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter, producer, and performer. Described as “New Retro”, her style blends the likes of indie, alternative rock, and folk genres to create a colourful and dynamic sound on stage.
7 to 8 p.m. – Mandippal comes from a family of musicians and writers and focuses solely on his own blend of poetry and pop/rock. With over a decade of experience, Mandippal has been recognized as a serious artist with the ability to capture an audience with his tone and humility.
